The best review automation tools for marketing agencies in 2026 cover review requests, replies and monitoring for every client under the agency's brand, at a per-location price the agency can mark up. Agency plans start at $99 a month flat (EmbedMyReviews), $149 plus $29 per location (ReviewTactic) and $199 a month (Reviewshake, Review Grower). Only ReviewTactic also resells success-fee removal.
Updated October 2026. Prices checked on each vendor's pricing page in October 2026; the exact date for each vendor is in the sources.
This guide compares ten tools on the work an agency actually automates for clients: review requests, AI replies, monitoring and alerts, and the one thing no tool automates end to end, review removal. Each row shows the published price per location, how far the white label goes and whether there is a contract. For the wholesale and margin side of the same tools, read our white label reputation management software comparison; for ReviewTactic's own terms, the agency pricing page.
Which review automation tool fits which kind of agency?
It depends on what you sell. Agencies selling review collection at volume want unlimited requests at a flat price; agencies whose clients forward them fake reviews want removal they can resell; agencies selling a full digital bundle want a portal. The five picks below follow those jobs, not a score. Pick the row that sounds like your business.
Lowest flat cost for collection and widgets
$99 a month flat for unlimited clients and locations, with a custom domain, AI replies and request campaigns on your own API keys.
Review requests at volume
The $199 Agency plan includes unlimited email and SMS requests on your own Twilio and email accounts, with extra locations from $10 a month.
A dedicated review platform on your own domain
White Label Premium puts the client dashboard on your domain for $440 a year, and locations cost $60 each on the Multi Location plan.
Clients who ask about fake or abusive reviews
AI replies, violation detection and review removal under your logo. Removal is $69 wholesale per removed review, and nothing when a review stays up.
Agencies selling a full digital bundle
A white-label client portal with reputation as one module among many, on a $499 monthly minimum and a one-year contract.
Which review automation tools work for agencies, and what do they cost per location?
Ten tools publish an agency or multi-location plan. Per-location prices run from $10 a month (RightResponse AI PAYGO) through $25 to $39 (ReviewTactic wholesale) to $60 (Grade.us, GatherUp Multi Location), while EmbedMyReviews, Reviewshake and Review Grower bundle locations into a flat $99 or $199. Vendasta, Birdeye, and the agency plans of Grade.us, GatherUp and RightResponse AI are quote only.
"Not stated" means the vendor's pricing page did not say it when we read it in October 2026. "Not listed" under removal means the page shows no review removal service. Neither means the vendor has said it does not do the thing.

The 10 tools, one by one
ReviewTacticOur product
Fits: Agencies whose clients want reviews answered, watched and, where they break the rules, taken down.
- What it does
- ReviewTactic (our product) drafts AI replies in each client's voice, monitors Google and the OTA platforms a location lives on, flags reviews that may break Google's rules and runs the removal case, all under your logo.
- Agency pricing
- Two white-label tiers, no contract. Agency is $149 a month plus $29 (Starter features) or $39 (Growth features) per location. Agency Pro is $299 a month plus $25 or $35, and adds a custom domain and your color scheme. Volume discounts: 10% off at 26 to 50 locations, 15% at 51 to 100, custom above that. Removal is $69 wholesale per removed review; retail is $99. Review requests: the one-off SMS and email request tool and ReviewSpin are included; automated request sequences are a chargeable add-on service on request. [1][2]
- Strength
- ReviewTactic is the only tool here with a published pay-on-removal service you can resell. The client pays only when a review comes down, so you can offer it without taking on the risk yourself.
- Limitation
- ReviewTactic charges a platform fee before wholesale rates apply, puts the custom domain on the $299 tier, and does not ship automated request sequences in the agency tiers. Only reviews that break Google's policy can be removed, and Google decides every case.
Grade.us
Fits: Agencies that want a dedicated review platform with the client dashboard on their own domain.
- What it does
- Grade.us runs review request campaigns by email and SMS, funnel pages and review monitoring, built for agencies from the start.
- Agency pricing
- Small Business is $99 a month for one location, Multi Location is $60 per location for 2 to 10 locations, and the Agency plan is priced by demo. White Label Basic comes with every plan; White Label Premium, which puts the client dashboard on your domain, is $440 a year. There is a 14-day trial, and annual billing is 20% off. [3]
- Strength
- The domain-level rebrand is cheap next to the platform fees elsewhere: about $37 a month on top of the plan.
- Limitation
- The plans page does not mention AI replies, so if your clients expect drafted responses you will need another tool or a manual process.
Reviewshake
Fits: Agencies with many small clients that want to add capacity one seat at a time.
- What it does
- Reviewshake sends email and SMS review invitations, manages review sources and offers a fully white-labeled agency plan.
- Agency pricing
- The Agency plan starts at $199 a month and includes 10 clients, 25 locations, 15 users, 30,000 emails and 1,000 SMS a month. Extra seats run from $15 down to $8 a month on a sliding scale; each seat adds one user, 1,000 emails and 200 US SMS. The $29 Starter plan lists "Automated AI Review Responses"; the Agency plan description we read does not mention them. 14-day free trial. [4]
- Strength
- The most granular price ladder in this group. You add one seat instead of jumping a tier.
- Limitation
- The pricing page does not state contract terms, and it is not clear from the Agency plan text whether AI replies are included at that level. Ask before you quote.
Review Grower
Fits: Agencies selling review collection campaigns across many locations.
- What it does
- Review Grower runs review funnels, email and SMS review requests and review monitoring, with a white-label agency plan.
- Agency pricing
- The Agency plan is $199 a month, with additional locations from $10 a month, unlimited email and SMS on your own Twilio account and email provider, Stripe integration with auto billing, and premium white label with a white-labeled webhook integration. The page offers a free trial. It does not state how many locations the $199 covers before the $10 rate starts. [5]
- Strength
- Unlimited SMS in the agency plan, which is where per-message costs usually eat margin. You supply the Twilio account, so you control that cost directly.
- Limitation
- The pricing page does not state AI replies or contract terms, and the included location count is missing from the agency plan text. Confirm all three before you build a price list on it.
EmbedMyReviews
Fits: Solo consultants and small agencies that want the lowest fixed cost.
- What it does
- EmbedMyReviews collects reviews from 67+ sources, shows them in website widgets, runs request campaigns and drafts AI replies, all under your brand.
- Agency pricing
- $99 a month flat for unlimited clients and locations, with a custom domain, unlimited email, SMS and WhatsApp campaigns on your own keys, AI review responses on your own keys, and local grid rank tracking. No contract. The vendor says the $99 price is early-stage and will rise. [6]
- Strength
- A flat fee, so your software cost does not move when you add clients.
- Limitation
- Requests and AI replies run on API keys you pay for separately, the price is labelled temporary, and there is no removal or appeal work.
GatherUp
Fits: Agencies that want to sell customer feedback surveys alongside reviews.
- What it does
- GatherUp collects first-party feedback and reviews, drafts AI replies and monitors 100+ sites, with a white-label agency plan.
- Agency pricing
- Small Business is $99 a month, Multi-Location is $60 per location for 2 to 10 locations, and the Agency plan is quote only with white label. Up to 300 SMS and 3,000 email credits per location per month. The Review Defense add-on, which disputes fake reviews, comes in three plans whose prices are not on the pricing page. [7]
- Strength
- Feedback surveys give you a second thing to report on each month besides star ratings.
- Limitation
- No published agency price, so you cannot work out margin before a sales call. Review Defense is priced per location, not per result, so the client pays whether or not a review comes down.
BrightLocal
Fits: Local SEO agencies that already sell rankings and citations.
- What it does
- BrightLocal is a local SEO suite with audits, citations, rank tracking and reputation tools, white-labeled on every plan.
- Agency pricing
- Track is $41 a month, Manage $54 and Grow $65 on monthly billing ($31, $40 and $49 on annual). White-labeling is in all plans, review requests go by email and SMS, and monitoring and AI Insights are listed. Agency volume pricing and contract terms are not on the pricing page. [8]
- Strength
- Rankings, citations and reviews in one branded report, which is the report a local SEO client reads.
- Limitation
- The pricing page lists AI Insights but not AI-drafted replies, and the per-location cost for an agency book is not stated.
Vendasta
Fits: Agencies that sell a bundle of digital services and want one system to run it.
- What it does
- Vendasta is a white-label client portal plus a marketplace of resellable products. Reputation AI is one of them.
- Agency pricing
- Starter has a $99 monthly minimum, no contract and co-branding only. Professional ($499 minimum) and Premium ($999 minimum) carry a one-year contract and the white-label portal. Reputation AI comes in Standard, Pro (AI responses) and Premium (automatic requests and responses) tiers, listed without prices. [9]
- Strength
- One branded portal for many products. Nothing else on this list does that.
- Limitation
- $499 a month and a one-year commitment before you resell anything, and the per-location reputation price is not published.
Birdeye
Fits: Agencies whose clients are large, multi-location brands with procurement.
- What it does
- Birdeye is a customer experience suite sold to mid-market and enterprise brands.
- Agency pricing
- Quote only. We did not re-check Birdeye's pages for this comparison, so every other cell in the table is marked not stated rather than filled from memory. [10]
- Strength
- Built for large multi-location operations with a team to run it.
- Limitation
- No published price, so you cannot model margin before a sales call.
RightResponse AI
Fits: Agencies that want per-location reply automation with published per-location prices.
- What it does
- RightResponse AI generates and publishes review responses, sends review requests and surveys, and tracks map rank and competitors.
- Agency pricing
- Agency pricing is by quote. Per-location plans are $10 (PAYGO, credit-based), $19 (Core: 100 responses, 1,000 email requests), $29 (Pro: 200 responses, 2,000 emails and 200 SMS, AI-powered requests) and $44 (Pro+: 500 responses, 5,000 emails and 500 SMS, advanced automation) per location per month. Add-on packs are $10 a month each. [11]
- Strength
- Auto generate and auto publish on every paid plan, with response caps you can size per client.
- Limitation
- The pricing page does not state white label, review monitoring across sites or contract terms, and there is no removal service.
What does review automation actually cover for an agency?
Four jobs: asking customers for reviews, replying to the reviews that arrive, watching every client's profiles for new reviews and rating drops, and reporting all of it under your brand. Most tools automate the first three to different depths. None automates removal end to end, because Google decides each case; they can only find the reviews worth appealing.
Review requests
Request automation sends an SMS or email with a review link after a visit, usually with a reminder. The cells that matter are the monthly caps and who pays for SMS. Review Grower and EmbedMyReviews run on your own Twilio or email account, so the limit is your bill, not the vendor's cap. ReviewTactic includes the one-off request tool and ReviewSpin; automated sequences are an add-on service you order per client. Keep every funnel compliant: the Google link goes to every customer, with no rating filter in front of it.
AI replies: approve-first or autopilot
Reply automation drafts a response per review and either posts it or holds it for approval. The setting you want is per client and per star rating: autopilot for four and five stars, approve-first for anything lower. RightResponse AI, GatherUp and EmbedMyReviews list AI replies; Grade.us, Review Grower and BrightLocal do not state them on their pricing pages. For how routing by star rating works in practice, read our guide to automated review response software.
Monitoring and alerts across clients
Monitoring pulls every client's reviews into one queue and alerts you to new ones. The difference between tools is which sites they read: GatherUp lists 100+, EmbedMyReviews 67+, ReviewTactic Google plus 3 or 5 OTA platforms per location depending on the feature tier. For a hotel client the OTA sites matter more than the count; for a dentist, Google is most of the job.
Reporting under your brand
The monthly report is what the client renews on. Check where the vendor's name still shows: the dashboard URL, the PDF footer, the email sender. On ReviewTactic the logo sits on dashboards, emails and PDFs on both tiers, and the custom domain comes with Agency Pro. Grade.us charges $440 a year for the domain-level version. Vendasta's white-label portal starts at the $499 Professional tier.
How should an agency price review automation per location?
Start from the published software cost at your client count, add your time, then set a retail price per location that leaves the margin you need. At 10 client locations the published prices in the table give a monthly software cost between $99 and $600, so a $99 retail price per location leaves between 39% and 90% gross margin.
Worked example: 10 client locations, published prices only
Swipe the table sideways →
| Tool and plan | Your monthly software cost |
|---|---|
| EmbedMyReviews | $99 flat |
| Reviewshake Agency | $199 (25 locations included) |
| Review Grower Agency | $199 plus $10 for each location above the included count, which the page does not state |
| RightResponse AI Pro (per-location plan; agency plan by quote) | 10 × $29 = $290 |
| ReviewTactic Agency, Starter features | $149 + 10 × $29 = $439 |
| ReviewTactic Agency, Growth features | $149 + 10 × $39 = $539 |
| Grade.us Multi Location (agency plan by demo) | 10 × $60 = $600 |
| GatherUp Multi-Location (agency plan by quote) | 10 × $60 = $600 |
| BrightLocal, Vendasta, Birdeye | Not computable from published prices |
The rows are not like for like. EmbedMyReviews and Reviewshake bundle locations but run requests on caps or your own keys; the ReviewTactic rows include AI replies, monitoring and violation detection on every location; the Grade.us and GatherUp rows are their self-serve multi-location prices, and their agency plans may come in lower on a call. These figures leave out SMS overage, onboarding time and volume discounts. The full margin table, with retail assumptions, is in our white-label comparison.
Can an agency automate review removal?
No tool removes reviews automatically, because only Google decides whether a review comes down. What can be automated is the detection: scanning every client's reviews for ones that break Google's rules, drafting the appeal and tracking the case. ReviewTactic does that under your brand for $69 wholesale per removed review, nothing when a review stays up; retail is $99 [1] [2].
GatherUp's Review Defense add-on disputes fake reviews at a per-location price, so the client pays whether or not a review comes down. No other tool in the table lists a removal service.
Sell it as it is: a success fee for reviews that break the rules, with Google making every call. Before you pitch it to a client, run a free audit on one client profile to see which reviews may qualify, and read how Google review removal works.
How we compared these tools
We kept tools with a public agency or multi-location plan and read each vendor's pricing page in October 2026 (the date for each is in the sources). Every cell holds only what that page said. "Not stated" means the page did not say it; we did not fill gaps from memory, trials or third-party review sites. ReviewTactic is our product and is not ranked first. Nobody paid to be listed. Prices change often; check the source before you quote a client.
Which review automation tool should an agency choose?
Choose EmbedMyReviews if fixed cost matters most and you can bring your own API keys. Choose Review Grower or Reviewshake if you sell review requests at volume. Choose Grade.us if you want a dedicated review dashboard on your own domain and your clients do not expect AI replies. Choose Vendasta if reviews are one line on a larger invoice.
Choose ReviewTactic if your clients keep forwarding you reviews they think are fake: it is the one tool here that pairs AI replies and monitoring with a removal service you can resell on a success fee.
Check one client profile before you decide
Connect a client profile you manage. We can only look, not change anything. You get the results in 24 hours, and no card is needed. No removal, no fee.
