Free Chrome extension

Check a Google Maps listing for reviews that may break Google's rules

Review Removal Tool for Google Maps™ is a free Chrome extension from ReviewTactic. Open a business on Google Maps, click the icon, and in about 20 seconds you see which 1 and 2 star reviews may break Google's review policies, with the reason for each. Google decides what comes down. For businesses in the United States, we can file the reports for you.

Run the check on our website: the free Google review removal scan.Review Removal Tool for Google Maps™ installs on a computer in Chrome, Edge, Brave or Opera.

How it works

  1. Add the extension and pin it.
  2. Open a business on Google Maps.
  3. Click the icon. The result shows in the popup, and the icon shows the count.

What it does not do

It does not delete reviews; only Google removes a review. It does not read other tabs, add code to websites or need an account.

If you want us to file (United States only)

If you want us to file, you sign in with the Google account that runs the listing and approve each case. Nothing is filed until you approve it. We report each review to Google and, if Google declines it, appeal once; Google's decision on the appeal is final. You pay $99 per removed review, nothing if it stays up. A review counts as removed once it has been gone for 24 hours, and if Google restores it within 30 days of its removal, we credit or refund the fee.
