The ReviewTactic guarantee: you pay only for reviews Google actually removes

ReviewTactic does not guarantee that Google will remove a review. Nobody can: Google alone decides every case. What we guarantee are the terms. You pay $99 per review only after it is verified gone from your listing, and $0 if nothing comes down. No retainer, no setup fee, no minimum.

At a glance

  • You pay only after a verified removal.
  • One flat price, fixed before we file, never more.
  • We only file reviews that demonstrably break a Google policy.
In writing

What we guarantee, in writing

  1. You pay only after a verified removal.

Not when we file, not when Google replies, but after we confirm the review is no longer on your live listing. If Google leaves it up, you owe nothing, however much work went in on our side.

  2. One flat price, fixed before we file, never more.

$99 per removed review, stated before anything is submitted. The price does not change with difficulty, number of appeals, or how long Google takes. It is the same $99 for a single location and for an agency or multi-location group. No per-location fee, no minimum, no subscription required.

  3. We only file reviews that demonstrably break a Google policy.

The free scan comes first. We tell you which reviews we will file, under which policy, and which we will not touch. Honest reviews from real customers, even harsh or unfair ones, are not removable and we decline them, even if you would pay.

Verification

How we verify a removal

A removal counts when the review is no longer visible on your public Google Business Profile. We pull every client's reviews through the API every 15 minutes, and a review counts as removed only when it has been consistently absent for 48 hours, plus Google's official confirmation email. When you accept the cases we file, you get a PDF listing every review we submitted, so you can check exactly which reviews we worked on. We invoice only for confirmed removals (typically once 3 have come down, or earlier for removals already confirmed while other cases are still in progress), with a completion certificate, and only after you have checked that the reviews are gone.

The limits

What we don't guarantee

  • Google's decision.

We file through Google's official report and appeal process, with no shortcuts and no paid contacts. Google's team applies its own content policy and makes the call.

  • A fixed turnaround.

Easy cases take a few days, hard ones a few weeks. No reply roughly 10 days after an appeal usually means a refusal.

  • A rating or ranking change.

Removing a review may or may not move your star rating. We never promise a specific rating, more customers, or a better map position.

  • Removal of honest reviews.

A real customer's genuine opinion does not break Google's policy and cannot be removed. We will not file it.

  • Re-filing the same review.

Google accepts one filing per review. If Google refuses it, it cannot be filed again. (A review Google has removed does not come back. For the first 1 to 2 days it can still show because of caching, which is why we wait 48 hours before counting it.)

  • Other platforms.

This guarantee covers Google reviews only. Other platforms have their own processes and need their own expertise; today we focus on Google.

Our own numbers

Why we work this way

We charge on results because we cannot control the outcome, and a retainer would pay us for losing. Our own filing data, small samples from our own cases, shapes the rest:

  • Appeals argued on what the review says (unproven accusations, off-topic content, harassment) won 10 of 20.
  • Appeals argued on who wrote it (suspected fake account, competitor, conflict of interest) won 0 of 9.
  • Unproven scam or fraud accusations won 4 of 5 on appeal.
  • A report alone, with no appeal, removed 3 of 52.

So we argue the content, not the author. We always appeal, because a report by itself rarely works. And we tell you before filing when a review is unlikely to win, because an honest "no" costs you nothing and a hopeful "yes" costs us both. These are our measured numbers, not industry statistics, and we update them as cases close.

Who decides: Google's review team, against the Maps user-generated content policy. ReviewTactic's job is to identify the breach, document it, and submit it clearly through the official channel.

Frequently asked questions about this guarantee

What exactly does the ReviewTactic guarantee cover?
It covers the terms, not the outcome. Three things: you pay $99 per review only after we verify it is gone from your live listing; the price is fixed before we file and never rises with difficulty or number of appeals; and we only file reviews that demonstrably break a Google policy. Google's decision itself is outside the guarantee, because only Google makes it.
Do I pay anything if Google refuses to remove the review?
No. If Google leaves the review up, you owe $0. The free scan, the report, the appeal and the follow-up are all unpaid work on our side. That is the point of a success fee: we carry the risk of a refusal, not you. Google refuses a meaningful share of appeals, so this happens, and it costs you nothing.
What happens after a refusal? Do you try again?
Google's process is a report, then an appeal from day 3. About 90% of cases are decided at the appeal. Very strong cases can be escalated further, to Google's product experts on the forum or through legal steps, but few are worth taking that far, and we tell you honestly when one is. Google accepts one filing per review, so a refused review cannot be filed again. You are never charged for a review that is still live.
When and how is the $99 charged?
Only after removals are verified. We invoice for confirmed removals only. Typically we invoice once 3 negative reviews have come down; while work on other reviews is still in progress, we may also invoice the removals confirmed so far, at our discretion. Each invoice comes with a completion certificate listing the removed reviews, and we send it only after you have checked that they are gone. Pay by bank transfer or card. You are never asked for payment details before the free scan, and nothing is charged while a case is still with Google.
What if a removed review comes back?
It does not: a review Google has removed stays removed. For the first 1 to 2 days it can still appear because of caching, which is why we count a removal only after the review has been consistently absent for 48 hours.
Does the price change for hard cases, several appeals or many locations?
No. The fee is $99 per removed review, whatever the case needed: one report, a report plus appeal, or several rounds of follow-up. Same $99 for a single location and for an agency or multi-location group. No per-location fee, no volume minimum, no subscription required. Works on any ReviewTactic plan or on its own.
Is a success fee the same as guaranteed removal?
No, and the difference matters. Guaranteed removal promises an outcome no provider controls, which is why we treat that claim as a warning sign. A success fee promises only what we do control: the price and when you pay it. We file through Google's official report and appeal process and Google decides. If it says no, you pay nothing.
