Free Google review link generator

Most customers won't review you because finding your profile is too much work. A direct review link removes every step but one. Generate yours below. It's free, and there's nothing to sign up for.

A Google review link takes a customer straight to the review box for your business, with no searching. Search your business name above, pick it from the list, and copy your link. It works for any Google Business Profile and does not expire unless Google changes your profile's Place ID. Share it with every customer, not only the happy ones; asking selectively breaks Google's rules.

What is a Google review link?

A Google review link is a direct URL that opens your business's Google review form with the star selector ready to tap. Instead of telling a customer to "search for us on Google and scroll down," you hand them one link that lands them straight on the review box. No profile-hunting, no extra steps. Behind the link is your Place ID, Google's unique code for your business. You can share the same link by SMS, email, receipt or a printed QR code, which is what makes it the backbone of any review-collection effort. From there it's about asking consistently, at the moment the experience is freshest.

How to create a Google review link

The generator does the lookup for you. Four steps, under a minute:

  1. Search your business. Type the name into the box above. The suggestions come from Google's own Places search, so pick the entry whose address matches your profile. If you run several locations, pick one at a time.
  2. Copy the link. The generator reads your Place ID and builds the direct review URL in Google's format. Press Copy and it's on your clipboard.
  3. Test it once. Open the link on your phone. It should land on your business's Google review form with the star selector showing. If it opens a different business, go back and choose the right listing.
  4. Share it with every customer. Paste it into thank-you emails, receipts, booking confirmations and texts, or turn it into a QR code for the counter. Send the same link to everyone; filtering who gets asked is review gating, which Google forbids.

How to find your Place ID

A Place ID is Google's unique code for your business. The generator finds it for you automatically when you select your business from the dropdown. You don't need to look it up. If you'd rather find it by hand, search your business on Google Maps, open its profile, and use Google's Place ID Finder. Drop the ID into this format:

https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=YOUR_PLACE_ID

That URL opens your review form directly. The generator does exactly this for you and puts the result one click from your clipboard.

Share it by SMS, email and QR code

A link only works if customers actually see it. Put it where the moment is fresh:

Turn the link into a QR code

For anything printed or in-person, a QR code beats a typed link. Customers scan with their phone camera and land on your review form instantly. No typing, no searching. Use our free Google review QR code generator to turn this link into a downloadable QR you can print on receipts, table tents, cards and window stickers.

Want this on autopilot?

Sharing links by hand works, but it's easy to forget in a busy day. ReviewTactic's review generation sends every customer a review request at the right moment, by SMS or email, and follows up if they don't respond, all within Google's policies. You can also send your first request free right now.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get a Google review link?
Type your business name into the generator above, pick your listing from the Google suggestions, and press Copy. The tool builds a direct URL to your review form from your Google Place ID.
Is the Google review link generator free?
Yes. It runs in your browser on Google's own Places search, needs no signup or email, and has no usage limit.
What is a Google review link?
It's a direct URL that opens your business's Google review form with the star selector ready, so a customer can rate you in one tap instead of searching for your profile.
Can I shorten my Google review link?
The generator gives you the full Google URL, not a shortened one. For print, turn it into a QR code with our free Google review QR code generator so nobody has to type it. If you want a short URL for receipts or texts, any URL shortener works; the Google link behind it stays the same.
Does a Google review link expire?
No. The link is built from your profile's Place ID, which stays the same unless your profile is merged, moved or rebuilt. If customers report a broken link, generate a new one here.
Can I send my review link to every customer?
Yes, and you should. Google's rules forbid asking only the customers you expect to be happy. Send the same link to everyone, and let them write what they think.
Can I create review links for several locations?
Yes. Each location has its own Google Business Profile and its own Place ID, so each one gets its own link. Run the generator once per location and label the links so staff share the right one.
