Questions, answered

Straight answers

Why do retail stores have so many violations?
High foot traffic means more review volume, and more volume means more spam, competitor attacks, and wrong-location reviews. Our scan is not broken down by industry, so we will not put an industry-specific number on it. Across all 15,954 profiles scanned, businesses with any violation averaged 6.9 of them in a sample of roughly 23 negative reviews.
Can reviews about return policies be removed?
If the reviewer never actually made a purchase, or the review is about a corporate policy with no visit to the specific location, it may qualify for removal. Real customer experiences with returns are legitimate and stay.
What about chain store reviews left on the wrong location?
This is one of the most common violations for retail. If someone posts a review about one location on a different branch, it violates Google's relevance policy. Strong removal case.
How much does it cost?
$99 per review that is actually removed. The audit is free. If nothing comes down, you owe nothing.
How long does removal take?
Simple cases: a few days. Complex cases: a few weeks. You get updates as each case progresses.
